Dear Universal Traveller Community,
It is an unprecedented time with the COVID-19 pandemic, with that in mind, the health and safety of our customers and employees are our top priority. In ensuring the safety & hygiene of your online orders, we have implemented strict hygiene & safe distancing measures for all employees.
Pre-work Health Screening
All employees are screened twice daily with temperature taken with a contactless thermometer to ensure that the individual does not have a reading above 37.5°C / 99.5°F and do not exhibit any symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
Personal Protection Measure
All employees are required to wear a face mask at all times while in Universal Traveller premises performing work duties.
Personal Hygiene and Sanitizing
All employees are required to wash or sanitize their hands frequently and directly after interactions with any 3rd party. Hand washing must be performed with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, as recommended by the CDC. Hand sanitizers are provided and made available in all common areas and work stations in the office and retails stores. All work stations, common areas and high touch points’ areas are sanitized and disinfected every 2 hours.
Social Distancing Protocol
Employees will be required to adhere to the local guidelines for social distancing which is a minimum of 1 meter of distance between all individuals at all times.
Parcel Packaging
Employees handling online purchase packaging are required to wear gloves at all times and regularly changing gloves and sanitize their hands. Every individual item(s) packaging is sanitized prior to packing into the parcel bag.
Retail Stores
Universal Traveller retail stores have resume business with strict compliance to COVID-19 operations guideline.
In addition to the above employees protocol mentioned, we have implemented additional guidelines and protocol for in-store to ensure our employees and customer’s safety.
Customer Health Screening
All customers are screened prior to entering the store with temperature taken with a contactless thermometer to ensure that the individual does not have a reading above 37.5°C / 99.5°F and do not exhibit any symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
Customers are required to check-in with the designated local authority QR code, or provide contact details for COVID-19 contact tracing in compliance with local authority.
Personal Hygiene and Sanitizing
Customers are required to sanitize their hands prior to entering the store with hands sanitizer provided.
All common areas and high touch points’ areas are sanitized and disinfected every 2 hours.
Employees are to sanitize their hands after every interaction with customers.
Social Distancing Protocol
Employees & customers will be required to adhere to the local guidelines for social distancing which is a minimum of 1 meter of distance between all individuals at all times.
ü Store occupancy will be limited to comply with local authority social distancing protocol.
Point of Sales
We encourage cashless transaction to limit contact interaction.
Employees are only to handle store provided paper shopping bags. If customers prefer to use their own reusable shopping bags, the customer must bag their purchase themselves, the employee is not allowed to handle the bag to limit contact interaction.
