A Magical Story Begins

We’re super excited to share that Universal Traveller is off to Austria with the Austrian Tourism Board and Sedunia Travel for a truly special winter adventure!

Over nine days and seven nights, seven artists will explore Austria’s magical winter wonderland, from charming heritage towns to snow-covered mountains that look straight out of a postcard.

Day 1: Hello, Salzburg!

Salzburg in winter felt like stepping into a storybook! Strolling through the Old Town with festive lights twinkling everywhere, we soaked up the cozy buzz of Christmas markets, historic streets, and little winter treats along the way. The city’s charm made us want to linger, wander a bit longer, and just enjoy the warm, magical vibes of the season.

Day 2: City Adventures Calling

The morning unfolded with leisurely strolls through Salzburg’s historic lanes before slowing the day down with a warm, homemade treat to beat the winter cold.

The evening ended on a high note with a Mozart concert dinner, bringing culture and elegance to a perfect winter day.

Day 3: Alpine Panoramas

Ever wondered where Arendelle from Frozen came from? Hallstatt is often said to be the inspiration, with pastel colored houses lining the lake and a fairytale charm that feels unreal.

Next, we headed to Zell am See to check into one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever seen. The Grand Hotel Zell am See sits right on the edge of a vast lake, perfectly reflecting the surrounding panoramic mountain landscape.

Day 4: A Winter Sonata

Feeling on top of the world at Top of Salzburg, we took in the stunning views before racing down the Maisi Flitzer alpine coaster (pure thrill and laughter all the way)! The perfect ending? The day couldn’t have ended better than at Grand Hotel Zell am See, ending the night with the Christmas party, complete with festive vibes, treats, and gift exchanges.

Day 5: Crystal World Meets Furry Charm

The day sparkled at Swarovski Crystal Worlds, home to dazzling crystal art installations and interactive experience, leaving us all a little more starry-eyed than before.

The evening brought something completely different, an alpaca and llama hike, with slow scenic strolls, fresh mountain air, and plenty of smiles alongside the cutest companions.

Day 6: Ski, Slide, and Soak in Ischgl

Austria isn’t Austria without skiing! The day everyone had been waiting for finally arrived, and the excitement was contagious as we skied our hearts out. Adrenaline was pumping, laughter echoed across the slopes, and it felt like the perfect, unforgettable way to close this incredible trip.

Day 7: Auf Wiederschauen, Austria
